Anja Humljan / The Urban Yoga
Anja Humljan / The Urban Yoga
The role of the architect is not only to create buildings but also to build bridges between architecture and the people who use the designed structures on a daily basis. Anja is inspiring others to look at the world around them in a more meaningful way. She advocates for a new school of architectural design that centers on the human sensory experience. She got out of the architectural office and off the yoga mat to change the way we feel, breathe, and think about architectural space and our life in the city. Yoga techniques do an effective job of putting both conscious and subconscious experience of the world into practice, which is how “yoga” became part of the project.
