Viennese artist Karin Mack explores the structure and impact of media images in a large arc of documentary photography that spans her own travels and appropriates fashion and war photography. Her quiet, contemplative travel photographs correspond to expressive collages (processed in both analog and digital form) and are combined with her critical essays to create an artistic statement that also refers to her insistence on a feminist view of photography as a medium.
