A selection of 33 interviews with Slovenian artists, philosophers and scientists that shed light on the dilemmas of contemporary society and art.
The present book presents a selection of 33 interviews with local artists of different artistic practices and generations. Among them are several interviews that shed important light on the themes of language (Marko Stabej), reading culture (Manca Košir), art and fascism (Slavoj Žižek), the spiritual dimensions of Christianity, art and society (Taras Kermauner), and understanding the time in which art emerges (Renata Salecl). There are also two scholars connected with the work of artists (Mavretič, Peruš) and a fighter for the rights of the most vulnerable, the outstanding lawyer Matevž Krivic, with the topic of the erased, about whom books are written and films are made.
