Jaka Teršek / Ecstasy Terrace

Ecstasy Terrace is a photobook by Jaka Teršek, featuring photographs taken in China in 2019. The collection of chance encounters, unusual details and naive enthusiasm shifts between day and night, the observed and the seen, animals and food, and animals that are yet to become food. What seems self-evident soon becomes questionable. The book is also a travelogue, although it strives persistently not to be one.

The photobook was published in October 2026 by the Belgian publisher Matanna Editions in a limited edition of 150 copies. Each copy includes the author's signed photograph.
