Day X is a series of 5 publications, each featuring a one-day collaboration between a writer and a photographer working in Europe.

Book No. 3: In the series, author Marie Gamillscheg and photographer Laura Braun spent the 25th of March 2016, the 60th birthday of the European Union, in a village that hosted the union’s centre: Westerngrund, Unterfranken, Germany. Day X – Westerngrund charts their search for a middle and its meaning.
