Visual artist Tilyen Mucik's series entitled Plant-Based is a continuation of her ongoing exploration of vegetative motifs. In her creative practice to date, she has been devotedly and thoroughly exploring the ways of representing flora through the medium of photography in the expanded field. By transferring them into the photographic medium, the artist effectively freezes the plants in time and preserves them in this suspended state for eternity. – Miha Colner, curator at Božidar Jakac Gallery
